Portugal Shines Bright: Celebrating the Winners of the World Travel Awards

Portugal was distinguished in 31 categories at the 31st edition of the World Travel Awards, whose European gala took place in Berlin. Madeira, Porto Santo, Lisbon, and Porto were elected the best in Europe in the categories of Best Island Destination, Best Beach Destination, Best Urban Destination, and Best Seaside Metropolitan Destination, respectively.

Braga won the Emerging Destination award, and the Azores were considered the Best Adventure Destination. The Passadiços do Paiva were once again distinguished with the award for Best Tourist Attraction in the Adventure segment worldwide. TAP was named the best airline in Europe for traveling to South America and Africa.
