Qualifying Criteria
- Investment criteria include:
- €500,000 min. investment for a Private Equity or Regulated Fund
- €500,000 min. for research activities of public or private entities that are part of the national scientific and technological system
- €250,000 in support of artistic production or in the recovery or maintenance of national cultural heritage

Tax Benefits (Non-Habitual Resident Regime)
In the 2024 State Budget Law, it was decreed that the Non-Habitual Resident (NHR) regime would conclude starting from January 1st, 2024. Nevertheless, there remains a window of opportunity for specific individuals to submit applications until March 31st, 2025. Following the cessation of the NHR scheme, plans are underway to introduce the Tax Incentive for Scientific Research and Innovation, anticipated to come into effect later in 2024.
