Prata Riverside Village

Prata Riverside Village, a development by VIC Properties, was created using a unique residential idea in Lisbon, focusing on the inhabitants' and tourists' quality of life. In perfect harmony: work, pleasure, well-being, commerce, and services. In the heart of the city, there is a little village.

The apartments at Prata Riverside Village were designed with the intention of being lived in. Each apartment has something special to offer, such as the ideal balance of light, comfort, and style. Renzo Piano Building Workshop has designed one of his most spectacular buildings here, with an utterly unique view of the Tagus River: a "urban hamlet" in the center of Lisbon, with a true neighborhood vibe, calm but full of life.

Prata Riverside Village is a natural extension (to the south) of Parque das Nações, Lisbon's most modern and sophisticated neighborhood and one of the city's most important residential, commercial, and leisure zones. Under the theme "The Oceans, Heritage for the Future", and with the purpose of commemorating the 500 years of the Portuguese Discoveries, Expo'98 transformed a degraded area of the city into a residential area with all the characteristics of a modern metropolis worth discovering. Most significant landmarks that celebrate this transformation are the Pavilhão de Portugal, designed by Álvaro Siza Vieira, the Pavilhão do Conhecimento, the Oceanário de Lisboa, the Gare do Oriente designed by Santiago Calatrava, the Ponte Vasco da Gama, second longest bridge in Europe, the Torre Vasco da Gama and the beautiful Jardins da Água, Jardim Garcia de Horta e Jardim da Música. As predicted, a city emerged in the aftermath; a park-city where the view of the river, security and exceptional facilities such as the Casino de Lisboa and the Vasco da Gama shopping centre are the ideal setting for the "good life".
